Stan's pals: It's bigger on the inside!

What a week, it's definitely proven we're more than just dog walkers!

Blimey, it's been a crazy week to be a worker at Stan's pals! This week, we've had our busiest day for walks and daycare as well as events, training classes and exciting news for the future of Stan's pals but thats a story for a different blogpost, watch this space.

We are also well and truly into our busy summer period of petsitting and us petsitters are loving all our sleepovers with our furry friends and rascal reptiles. It definitely makes us appreciate our own beds though!

Today was the conclusion of our two week crash course in loose lead walking as well; we've seen some really positive results! This was my first time teaching a course so it's a proud moment for me and I'm really grateful I had the support from all the team at Stan's pals behind me! I couldn't have done it without you guys :)

Whilst Tina, Cathy and I were at our training classes a lot of other vital members of the team were all busy fundraising at a fun day and dog show in Oakthorpe. The dog show proceeds will all be going to Dunroamin Dog rescue in memory of Noodle who has been in all our thoughts. We love fundraising at Stan's pals and to do it in memory of such a lovely, special boy has meant the world to the whole team.

Finally, I'd like to say a big thank you to our long term volunteer and all round lovely lady Ann Millar who helped out today and was a real asset; you're a star and we are all grateful for all your help and support!
